What's SAGA?

Here on Itch, I sell one mega music pack crafted for RPG, Action, & Adventure video games called SAGA Complete Collection (previously titled Game Music Treasury). This collection has been sold an astonishing 18,000+ times and has been featured on Unity Asset Store, Game Dev Market, & Humble Bundle. This collection is highly regarded for its quality and attention to essential uses for indie games. Best of all, it's affordable!

SAGA Complete Collection consists of 5 volumes, a total of 590+ tracks that cover the most essential styles and genres you need for your game. 147 of the tracks feature live musicians (orchestra, guitar, violin, piano, etc.) including the Chicago Symphony and Los Angeles Philharmonic, some of the premiere orchestras in the world! Check out the lineup and grab the one you need most. Or save 20% and buy the Complete Collection:

What's New In v2.0?

  • NEW NAME: the most obvious change since v1.4 is the name change to SAGA (literally meaning epic story), which I think is far more fitting than the previously generic Game Music Treasury. Since these tracks have a strong bent towards RPG, Action, & Adventure genres, I felt like a new name and custom artwork was the way to go for fresh branding and restructuring. The best change of all is the new division into 5 volumes instead of the previous 30, which was becoming impossible to keep updated. Keeping a smaller product line makes everything simpler and smoother.
  • NEW FILE-NAMING & FOLDER STRUCTURE: Organizing by Exploration, Battles, Characters, Cutscenes, etc. makes these tracks easier than ever to search for and use exactly when you need them.
  • BPM (beats per minute) added to every track filename: now you know exactly how fast every track will be before previewing, saving a ton of time when searching for your next track.
  • LOOPS: I painstakingly re-edited every file to loop seamlessly (where applicable), a total of 461 loops in this collection! This means that when you throw the audio files into your game engine, they will loop indefinitely without any pops or awkward transitions. Yikes that was a painful task, but it was a labor of love :)
  • LIVE: While re-editing every track, I made careful notes as to which tracks contains live musicians, so those are definitely tracks to look out for when you need a pop of deep emotion in your game.
  • LAYERS: For a handful of tracks, I made layers available to help create more dynamic music in your game (exploration vs. battle or ambient that increases to tense alternate versions).
  • NEW TRACKS: As with every update, I added a couple dozen new tracks to give even more awesome music. These updates are always free!

I would like to purchase a music track to use in my game developed in Unity, which I plan to release on the Play Store. Once I purchase this music track in the specified package, am I allowed to use it in the game as mentioned without any additional steps or requirements? Also, what documentation or proof should I retain to verify that I have purchased this music from you?

I bought saga epic in a bundle and i love it, but its not youtube safe :'( could you provide certificate content ID please ?

I'm sorry to hear that! Did you try posting to YouTube regardless of any Content ID flags? It should go through without any issues! Btw, I'm much faster to respond via email: steven@stevenmelin.com

The tracks in this sound awesome. Definitely going to be considering this for my next game

Thanks so much! If you'd like to try a sample before you buy, check out my free Music & SFX pack featuring 18 music loops & 17 SFX from Game Music Treasury & Game SFX Treasury: https://www.stevenmelin.com/free-pack

Hi, Steven - I purchased the pack and when I tried to download it, the Google Drive link says that "File is in Owner's Trash." Can you help?

(1 edit)

Hey! Sorry about that - you seem to have purchased right when I was transferring over to the new updated v1.1 file! The link is now correct. Shoot me an email if you're unable to access: steven@stevenmelin.com and I'll get that link to you ASAP.

I had a feeling it was in the middle of an update. Looks like it's fine now.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Hi, Steven~ How can I get the license of this pack individually?

Hey! I no longer license the tracks individually - part of why the bundled cost is so low is because I only sell these in a collection.

Just a heads up, the description says the cost is less than 1% of $7,515, but that would be $75.15 and it is selling for $299 (149 on sale). Not sure if the price was raised or the amount of music did but you may want to update that

thanks for the catch! has been updated to "less than 2% of that cost" :)

Awesome music pack once again !

I made another gamejam using your music (bought, credited and linked) and finished 4th place this time, but 1st place in SFX/Music which is obviously thanks to you !

I used mostly music from the "ambient" and "somber" category and your music was perfect for the mood of my game.

Awesome!! Thanks so much for letting me know :)

Hello, I purchased your music package and ran into a problem. All music is in uasset format. Unfortunately I am making a project in Unity and it does not work with the Unreal Engine data format. Is there any way to use them in Unity?

Thanks for letting me know! I just emailed you the correct files and updated the ZIP file here on Itch.
